SAVE HAPPY ROCK
A campaign to tell the world why a small-town coffee shop was worth saving.
The Save Happyrock campaign was created to do something seemingly impossible: raise 6 figures in a few weeks to save a queer coffee shop.
Happyrock Coffee, a beloved community hub and queer safe space, was facing disaster. Their building had been put up for sale and local homophobes were threatening to buy it out from under them. They had only weeks to try and raise the money to make an offer.
With the clock ticking, a fundraiser campaign was launched. The campaign included a documentary-style video for use on social media, a new website, and a collection of exclusive fundraiser products.
This campaign was a wild success, receiving national media attention and rapidly raising the necessary funds.
All aspects of the campaign were directed, produced, and designed by Molly Robin.
